Why film instead of paint

It comes off
A wrap is film, not paint. Years later it is removed and the factory finish is underneath, unchanged. That is the difference between a colour you are committed to and a colour you are trying.
It protects while it changes
The film takes the sun, the light scuffs and the wash marks instead of your clear coat. A wrapped car often has better paint underneath when it comes off than it did going on.
Finishes paint cannot do
Satin, matte, brushed metal, colour shift. Getting any of those in paint means a respray and a permanent decision.

Not every wrap is a whole car

Most first jobs are partial — a roof, a set of mirrors, the chrome. They change how a car reads for a fraction of the work.

Roof wrap
Gloss or satin black roof — the cheapest way to change how a car reads.
Hood and mirrors
Accents only, often carbon or satin, usually a same-day job.
Chrome delete
Window trim, grilles and badges taken to gloss or satin black. Reversible, no paint involved.
Racing stripes and accents
Cut and laid by hand, with the edges wrapped into the panel gaps.
Commercial lettering
Logos and lettering on a work vehicle, over paint or over a wrap.
Removal and re-wrap
Old or failing film taken off properly, adhesive cleaned, and re-wrapped.

This is our process

01
Build it and request a quote
Pick the panels and finish in the Studio. The form arrives knowing what you chose.
02
Consultation
We look at the paint, show you the real film in daylight, and confirm coverage.
03
Prep and disassembly
Wash, clay, and where needed correction. Handles, badges and trim come off so the film wraps behind them.
04
Wrap
Panel by panel in a controlled bay, heat-formed into the curves, edges tucked rather than trimmed at the edge.
05
Reassembly and post-heat
Everything refitted, seams post-heated so they hold, then inspected with you under light.

Living with it

How long it lasts
Quality film on a garaged car in this climate lasts the applicable product term. Parked outside in Houston sun, less. We will give you the honest number for your situation rather than the brochure number.
Washing it
Hand wash, pH-neutral soap, no brush tunnels. Matte and satin need a dedicated soap with no gloss enhancers. Full instructions come with the car.
Heat is the enemy
Texas sun is what ages film, especially on a roof and bonnet. A wrapped car that lives outside will show it first on the horizontal panels.
Warranty & care
Warranty coverage depends on the selected product and manufacturer

Wrap warranties usually cover lifting, cracking and colour failure, and usually exclude damage from bad washing. Exact terms come from the warranty document once the bracketed items are settled.

Wrap questions

Will a wrap damage my paint?
Removal results depend on the paint condition, previous repairs, film and installation. Our team will inspect the surface and explain any concerns before work begins.
Wrap or respray?
Respray if you want it permanent and you are willing to affect resale on an original-paint car. Wrap if you want it reversible, want a finish paint cannot do, or want the paint underneath protected while you have it. Most people who ask this end up wanting the wrap.
